Nara is pleased to announce the
appointment of Paul Batho MA FRICS FRGS as Chief Executive.
His remit will be to draw up, and oversee, nara’s
business plan, to liaise with Government and potential appointors, as well as
developing and improving the service which nara provides for its members.
Having
qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1982, Paul has spent time advising banking
clients lending to the commercial property sector. Through the College
of Estate Management in Reading, he has, amongst other things, developed and
presented property training courses for some of the leading UK banks.
For
a number of years he has been closely involved with the RICS, especially
through membership of their education policy committees.
Paul
is very much looking forward to the challenge of helping nara develop and grow in a market where the
services of its members are in such strong demand. He feels that it is a great
time to be moving forward as an organisation, with the prospect of stronger
numbers, improved services to members and a higher profile in the lending
community.
The
new nara
business plan will be designed to reflect the requirements of the Council and
members, and set the course for development and growth over the next few years.
Input from the members will be essential so he will welcome any thoughts and
suggestions for nara’s
future. He can be contacted at paul.batho@nara.org.uk
